Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessment of arbitration referrals to determine viability, required documentation, and next steps
Evaluate consumer agreements, arbitration clauses, and jurisdictional requirements
Manage a portfolio of arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings
Draft and review pleadings, responses, motions, settlement proposals, and arbitration submissions
Represent clients in arbitration hearings, conferences, and negotiations (in person, telephonically, or virtually as required)
Maintain up-to-date case tracking, status updates, and reporting to internal teams and clients
Ensure all arbitration activities comply with federal and state regulations, client guidelines, and firm protocols
Work with compliance staff to monitor rule changes in arbitration forums (e.g., AAA, JAMS) and adjust procedures accordingly
Coordinate with intake, litigation, operations, and client relations teams to ensure seamless case flow
Provide guidance on arbitration processes to paralegals and support staff
Participate in developing or refining firm procedures to improve efficiency in arbitration handling
