Analyst I - Volatiles
Waypoint Analytical is the nation's largest agricultural and environmental laboratory network, and they are seeking an Analyst I for their Volatiles laboratory. The Analyst will perform analyses of client samples using various analytical techniques and ensure laboratory readiness and safety.

Responsibilities
Support the testing procedure through collection, preparation, and analysis of samples
Prepare the laboratory for daily operations, such as stocking materials, evaluating equipment, and performing safety and cleaning procedures
Ensure lab readiness and safety
Conduct sample testing procedures
Validate and report testing results
Follow safety protocols and quality control guidelines
Maintain valid and accurate documentation
Review, complete, and process logs and additional documentation as necessary
Perform analysis using different chemistry techniques

Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related fields; experience in lieu of degree may be considered
Previous environmental laboratory experience is preferred
