Finance Director
CBRE is a global leader in commercial real estate and investment services, and they are seeking a Finance Director to manage all departmental finance functions for an aerospace company. This role involves overseeing financial strategy, operations, compliance, and staff development to ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities
Provide formal supervision and leadership to employees by conducting ongoing coaching, administering performance evaluations, enforcing company standards, and overseeing the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new hires
Direct and coordinate daily team operations by establishing work schedules, assigning and delegating tasks, managing workload distribution, monitoring productivity, and ensuring all staff are properly cross‑trained to support departmental flexibility and continuity
Track and promote staff development by monitoring training completion, identifying skill gaps, creating development plans, and supporting continuous learning to strengthen team capabilities and meet organizational goals
Lead financial and strategic management processes including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and the preparation of standard management reporting to support accurate and timely decision‑making
Synthesize feedback from employees, peers, and business partners to inform the strategic planning process, while collaborating with management to establish departmental priorities, refine processes, and develop or revise financial policies and procedures
Oversee preparation, accuracy, and delivery of reporting results, ensuring data integrity, compliance with internal controls, and alignment with operational and financial objectives, while supporting Operations on business‑wide initiatives
Execute capital expenditure (capex) projects in accordance with company approval guidelines, applying broad knowledge of multiple business disciplines to optimize cross‑functional performance, resource allocation, and operational efficiency
Model CBRE RISE values through leadership and influence, persuading stakeholders to take action, negotiating with external partners or vendors with differing interests, solving complex operational and organizational challenges, and driving significant improvements in methods, processes, and standards
Qualification
Required
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems
Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset
Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred
