Contract Management Analyst - Health Plan

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a database of all current and expired contracts and agreements involving PCHP to ensure compliance with Parkland policies and procedures. Adds new contracts appropriately to the database and removes expired contracts to ensure information is up to date
Initiates renewal and amendment process of contracts and agreements
Maintain working knowledge of all pertinent contract terms and provides recommendations for potential contractual modifications
Collaborates with Contracts Manager and various PCHP teams regularly to review compliance with contractual metrics
Facilitates final contract approval and execution process
Manages invoice receipt and payments and monitors the PCHP Finance email account
Performs regular spend and invoice analysis of complex contracts to mitigate payment discrepancies
Acts as a liaison between Supply Chain, Legal Affairs, Accounting staff, PCHP stakeholders, and vendors to ensure contracts are administered in an accurate and timely manner
Performs other ad hoc contract duties as directed
Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of PCHP
Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices
Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and customer requirements. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Must have three (3) years of contracting, legal, or data analysis experience
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and database management software packages
Ability to read and understand contracts as they relate to contract administration
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Aptitude to take initiative with a strong personal accountability
Resourceful in solving problems and maximizing resources
Must understand departmental budgets and spending, in order to support good stewardship
Ability to work effectively with others
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Prefer experience in healthcare
Prefer contract administration experience
Proficiency with Infor, Jaggaer, or other contract management systems is preferred
