ICM Solutions is seeking a skilled Shop Service Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of metals while ensuring a safety-first mindset in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and work safely in all aspects of the job. Be a safety champion within the team, lead and model safe behaviors and drive continued safety improvements
Interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Work along manager and team leader to solve problems and provide solutions
Ability to work well in a team, give input, drive accountability, and train and mentor others
Ability to see the big picture of the job and how your contribution impacts the project
Ability to work from instruction and job routings
Able to perform work in desired time requirements for each task and job
Experience utilizing FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and Carbon arc gouging processes
Experience fitting weldments per designed prints

Required

Heavy construction and/or mining equipment experience
Welding and fabricating a variety of metals from sheet to heavy plate
Ability to read and interpret build prints
Ability to follow build instruction
Ability to exceed the estimated weld times
Working knowledge of crusher mechanics, track plants, jaws, cones, bore welding, and machining
Ability to work with a safety-first mindset
Consistently utilize safety systems including TRACK and Tyfoom
Demonstrate and work safely in all aspects of the job
Be a safety champion within the team
Lead and model safe behaviors and drive continued safety improvements
Interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Work along manager and team leader to solve problems and provide solutions
