In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the design, integration, and analysis of complex aerospace systems—ensuring performance, safety, and manufacturability from concept through production.

Responsibilities
Develop and modify detailed mechanical system component and assembly designs
Support the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal system architectures
Create and maintain design documentation, specifications, and processes that support manufacturing and assembly
Perform spatial integration at the system and component level, including mechanisms, landing gear, and ordinance systems
Analyze design results and support technical and design reviews
Participate in technical reviews of supplier designs and resolution of non-conformances
Assist in preparing technical documentation for mechanical components and systems
Support proposal development and new business initiatives as needed
Work under general supervision while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited engineering program
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering classification (or Master's degree with relevant experience)
Strong mechanical design experience
Proficiency with CATIA
Experience with requirements development and tools such as DOORS
Understanding of system safety analysis principles
Preferred
Aerospace or defense industry experience
Experience supporting supplier design reviews and manufacturing non-conformances
Familiarity with mechanical system integration in complex platforms
