Responsibilities
Stay current on applicable standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, and BV policies and procedures
Apply knowledge of the BV Quality Program to ensure accurate, compliant deliverables
Demonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives
Use and expand applications and tools to evaluate and improve methods, processes, and procedures
Create and develop project deliverables based on a variety of design inputs
Perform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences
Support internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities and drivers
Proactively seek out, share, and apply knowledge of new technologies and evolving processes
Qualification
Required
Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
Basic Civil 3D experience is required with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections
Intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience using digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
Ability to create, update, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
Strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives
Ability to perform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
Ability to coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences
Ability to support internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities and drivers
