Responsibilities

Plans, develops, implements, and manages the Adult ECMO program
Oversight of patient care activities
Revision of clinical policies and procedures
Collaborative responsibility for maintaining the quality of ECMO services
Works closely with the multidisciplinary team across the continuum from the time a patient is placed on ECMO until discharge
Accountability for coordination of activities including patient education, staff education, surgical coordination, and data collection

Required

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(RN) Registered Nurse
Bachelors Degree
Required Experience: 5 years Cardiovascular Intensive Care or Cardiology related experience

Preferred

Preferred Experience: Background in cardio-vascular surgery, and critical care nursing care
