Responsibilities
Perform core accounting functions as a Senior Accountant, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely financial information
Participate in audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Analyze variances and provide insight to management as a Senior Accountant
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Qualification
Required
2+ years of public accounting experience highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Prior hands-on experience in general ledger accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP
Ability to manage competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy
Solid communication and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience working as a Senior Accountant in a mid-sized or growth-oriented organization
Advanced Excel skills
Prior experience contributing to process improvements as a Senior Accountant
