Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Operations, Product Development, Tech Transfer and Automation team members for implementation and troubleshooting of manual and automated methods
Provide timely support and training for Operations end-users
Plan and execute performance qualification tests for new methods and instruments
Evaluate and qualify new reagents and consumables
Support documentation efforts for laboratory procedures and equipment qualifications
Develop new methods and protocols for manual sample recovery
Participate in group meetings and present results
Use effective two-way communication to create and maintain a collaborative working environment
Support and ensure compliance with all department and company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
PhD or MS with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or BS with a minimum of 8 years of experience
Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience with DNA/RNA, NGS technology and lab automation
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent organization and troubleshooting skills required
Flexibility, multitasking, and teamwork are required to support operations personnel
Experience using root cause analysis tools and techniques highly desired
Experience in biotech and clinical labs is highly desired
Strong desire to work in a demanding, high-energy, hands-on, and fast-paced environment
