Responsibilities
Follow all job safety practices and policies including but not limited to: food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc
Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment, as needed
Routinely use measuring tools (such as: calliper gauges, micrometres)
Advise production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications
Maintain a safe and clean workspace according to 5S standards
Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or education equivalent required
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production/manufacturing role
Experience maintaining production or quality control equipment
Proficiency with computer applications (such as: Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends
Must be able to match colors
Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise communication (verbal and written) in a respectful manner to all levels of personnel
Preferred
1+ years of experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with depth gauges, dial callipers, and/or automated gauges
