Responsibilities
Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures
Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments
Enhance security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members
Qualification
Required
Experience in application security or DevSecOps
Track record of supporting software development teams
Ability to determine security requirements
Experience in planning, implementing, and testing security systems
Knowledge of security standards, policies, and procedures
Experience evaluating network and security technologies
Ability to develop requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices
Experience designing public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures
Knowledge of hardware and software security solutions
Experience adhering to industry standards in on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments
Ability to enhance security team accomplishments and competence
Experience in planning delivery of solutions
Ability to answer technical and procedural questions
Experience teaching improved processes
Experience mentoring team members
Knowledge of network security, network hardware configuration, network protocols, and networking standards
Strong decision-making skills
Ability to inform others effectively
Dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities
