Responsibilities
Lead daily accounting operations as the organization’s Accounting Manager, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Oversee inventory management processes, including reconciliations, valuation, and reporting
Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset tracking
Direct complex payroll processing, ensuring compliance with healthcare labor laws and regulatory requirements
Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and supporting documents
Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and healthcare‑specific financial policies
Partner with cross‑functional teams to verify accurate inventory, asset, and payroll data as an Accounting Manager
Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation to external auditors
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency as a proactive Accounting Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience serving as an Accounting Manager or senior accounting professional
Strong technical expertise in: Inventory management, Fixed asset accounting, Complex payroll processing
Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Preferred
Motivated, driven, forward thinking individuals should apply
Experience working as an Accounting Manager in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare billing or revenue cycle operations
Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Demonstrated success implementing process improvements as an Accounting Manager
Advanced Excel skills
