The Controller will lead day-to-day accounting and finance operations, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership while collaborating with department heads and senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Oversee accounting and finance operations across multiple entities
Ensure compliance with GAAP, HRSA, IRS, Medicare/Medicaid, and Uniform Guidance
Lead monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, and Board materials
Manage grants and contracts accounting, billing, and reporting
Partner with department leaders on financial performance and budgeting
Oversee cash management, payroll, accounts payable, and internal controls
Lead annual audit and support tax and regulatory filings
Manage and develop a professional finance team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills required
Preferred
Healthcare and/or nonprofit experience preferred
