Data Governance Program Manager
JPS Tech Solutions is seeking a Data Governance Program Manager to drive enterprise data initiatives and manage stakeholders. The role involves leading data governance initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of data governance practices.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage enterprise data governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals
Gather, document, and own business and technical requirements for data governance programs
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams
Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and ensure timely delivery
Implement and maintain data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, stewardship, and controls
Serve as a subject matter expert for data governance platforms and best practices
Communicate program updates and escalate issues to executive leadership as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Product Owner in financial services
Proven experience delivering data governance, data quality, MDM, regulatory data, or reporting programs
Strong ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs in matrixed environments
Solid understanding of data lifecycle concepts: metadata, lineage, stewardship, and controls
Hands-on experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Solidatus, or similar
Experience using project/delivery tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent
Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Capital markets experience and hands-on knowledge of data governance tools required; Atlan/Atlation a plus
