Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET APIs and backend services using JSON and XML payloads
Build complex data transformations with inputs/outputs in JSON, XML, CSV, and fixed-width formats
Develop and execute C# batch processes and console applications
Design and optimize MS SQL Server solutions, including complex stored procedures (DDL/DML)
Lead integration efforts with enterprise and third-party systems (e.g., Itron Temetra)
Author and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, and ETL documentation
Perform advanced testing, debugging, and performance tuning of backend processes
Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and compliance with corporate security standards
Design and manage deployment processes, environment promotions, and production cutovers
Collaborate with UX, business analysts, project managers, and product owners to deliver solutions
Promote coding standards, GitHub best practices (pull requests), and technical excellence
Qualification
Required
10+ years of enterprise application development experience
Senior backend C#.NET developer
10+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET backend development
Expert proficiency in API development and consumption using JSON and XML
Strong experience with data transformation and batch processing
Advanced MS SQL Server development and architecture knowledge
Enterprise-level experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Preferred
Experience integrating with Itron Temetra
Background in regulated or utility-based environments
