Responsibilities

Define and manage product strategy for a low to medium complexity products
Accountable for understanding and defining key business outcomes and requirements for your product(s)
Responsible for bringing the data and insights to the table for product teams and partners to understand and consume (in collaboration with design/experience experts)
Collaborating with technology and non-technology partners. In partnership with other members of a team, works to remove impediments that the team may face in the pursuit of value creation
Ensures the product team has the customer, user, and stakeholder context required to solve problems effectively and efficiently
Collaborate with marketing, business, compliance and project management to accurately represent the product. Drive growth through campaign initiatives, and suggest improvements to provide greater participant/customer lifetime value
Communicates product releases to stakeholders & partners
Finds opportunities to improve the product management practice within their sphere of responsibility; and takes action to continuously improve

Required

2+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, military experience, or education
1+ years experience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with engineering teams and partners
Possesses strong communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with collaborators at all levels
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the company and the industry, and comprehensive knowledge of technology and its role in solving business problems
Possesses understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
Strong critical thinking/vision, collaboration and decision-making skills along with business savviness and relationship management abilities
Proven experience collaborating, influencing, and negotiating in a professional team environment, including demonstrating varied perspectives and data to inform actions
Demonstrates ability to successfully manage multiple workloads and/or competing priorities

Preferred

Financial Services/retirement industry experience
Understanding of the needs of individuals, retirement market dynamics and operations, competition, and trends impacting both the retirement recordkeeping industry and the retail advisory world
High-level technical understanding of how third-party software as a service is used within your area of scope
