Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft ESB, CloudHub, and related integration platforms
Architect distributed, multi-tier integration applications leveraging Mule ESB and API-led connectivity principles
Create end-to-end conceptual, logical, and physical integration architectures, including technical design and specification documents
Define and recommend high-quality, scalable, and reusable integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Apply strong architecture principles and patterns to simplify complex technical challenges
Design and deliver hybrid integrations spanning API, cloud, and on-premise Mule ESB implementations
Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, including clustering, failover, load balancing, and multi-site deployments
Define reference architectures for MuleSoft ESB leveraging existing SOA/ESB platforms and enterprise standards
Lead the implementation of microservices and API-based integrations using MuleSoft ESB and Anypoint API Gateway
Design and integrate messaging and communication patterns, including JMS, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and event-driven architectures
Implement and enforce security standards, including OAuth, SAML, token-based authentication, and API security best practices
Provide hands-on leadership using Agile and open-source tools such as GitHub/SVN, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in enterprise application and integration architecture
7+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience, including ESB, Anypoint Platform, and CloudHub
Strong expertise in Integration Architecture patterns and styles (API-led, SOA, event-driven, microservices)
Proven experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant integration environments
Extensive experience with REST, SOAP, JMS, Web APIs, and enterprise messaging systems
Strong knowledge of API security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT, TLS)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitHub/SVN, Maven, and Agile delivery practices
Solid background in Java and web services development
Deep understanding of integration lifecycle methodologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
