Account Manager- Microsoft Technical Sales
Summit 7 is dedicated to protecting the US defense industrial base from cyber threats and fostering growth opportunities. The Account Manager will manage potential and current clients, ensuring their needs are met while exceeding sales quotas for software, projects, and services.

Responsibilities
Meet and exceed an aggressive sales quota for software, projects, and services
Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
Work closely and directly with clients to identify business needs, desires, and requirements
Educate customers, providing solutions to enhance their capabilities while meeting compliance requirements
Provides written proposals and statements of work to meet the needs in a timely manner
Responsible for updating all customer information and opportunities in a CRM solution and utilizing identified sales processes and procedures
Responsible for responding to and following up on sales inquiries in a prompt, professional manner
Supports sales leadership ensuring client information and opportunities are up-to-date and accurate
Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to sales leadership
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Organized with attention to detail
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
All candidates MUST BE a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check. Proof of citizenship and eligibility to work must be provided immediately upon hire. Failure to provide required documents will be cause for termination of employment until such time that the documents are provided
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Systems, or related field preferred
5+ years technical IT and/or IT-related sales experience highly desired
Thorough understanding and knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure based solutions and partner product lines
Basic understanding of client CMMC compliance requirements (NIST SP.800-171, NIST SP.800-53 and other security frameworks)
