Responsibilities
Design and develop 3D models and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (sheet metal and weldments)
Generate work orders, bill of materials, and part cut lists
Conduct on-site measurements and update design data as needed
Collaborate with production, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate project execution
Support cost estimation and quoting activities
Monitor progress to ensure technical and quality compliance
Qualification
Required
Authorization to work in the U.S. (valid work permit or status required)
Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in the metal fabrication industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (sheet metal & weldments)
Strong understanding of technical drawings, materials, and mechanical components
Experience using measuring tools (tape measure, caliper)
Preferred
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience with FEA and CNC processes
Certifications such as CSWA or CSWP (weldments, sheet metal)
