Director/ExecutiveGirls Ment To Be is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls ages 7–17 through mentorship, education, leadership development, and community engagement. The Volunteer Board Chair will lead the Board of Directors and partner closely with the CEO/Founder to ensure strong governance, strategic direction, and organizational sustainability.

Responsibilities
Lead and preside over Board of Directors meetings
Collaborate with the CEO/Founder on strategic planning and oversight
Ensure effective board governance, policies, and compliance
Support board recruitment, onboarding, and engagement
Represent the organization with community partners and stakeholders
Assist with fundraising and donor engagement initiatives
Uphold the mission, values, and ethical standards of the organization
Qualification
Required
Prior leadership or board experience (nonprofit experience preferred but not required)
Strong commitment to youth development and community impact
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with fundraising, nonprofit management, or strategic planning is a plus
