Account Manager, US Soccer Federation

The Account Manager for the US Soccer Federation will oversee the management and execution of travel arrangements for the federation, requiring strong project management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
Manage client relationships (both internal and external) as it relates to work assigned
Ability to manage a high volume of individual and group air, both domestic and international
Provide emergency and after-hours service to travelers, especially during peak client event months
Coordinate communication of traveler itineraries and changes with client staff
Know and properly use: airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts
Know and can book car service, rental cars and hotels when needed
Accurately and timely data management
Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs
Maintain a professional working relationship with the clients while representing the Company
Qualification
Required
Proven record of successful relationship building and maintenance
Knowledge of Sabre or similar GDS
Knowledge and experience of the airline industry
Individual and group booking experience and knowledge
Understanding of visa and country legal document requirements
Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365
Strong judgment and decision-making skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to produce accurate work under the stress of and meet ticketing deadlines
