Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web-based applications
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Participate actively in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., bootcamp certification with project portfolio)
Demonstrable proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
Foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Project or internship experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django)
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
A portfolio of projects (via GitHub, personal website, etc.) demonstrating coding ability
