Tin Can is a growing, VC-backed team focused on building products that help families stay connected while protecting childhood. They are seeking a Contract Recruiter to manage the full hiring lifecycle, partner with hiring managers, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting for all roles - from Customer Experience to Software Engineers and beyond!
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, networks, referrals, and creative outreach strategies
Screen candidates for experience and alignment with Tin Can’s mission and values
Coordinate and manage interview loops, feedback collection, and candidate communication
Ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and timely candidate experience from first touch to offer
Support offer development, closing conversations, and handoff to onboarding
Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in our ATS (Ashby)
Continuously improve recruiting processes, templates, and sourcing strategies as we scale
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a recruiter, including full-cycle ownership
Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments
Strong sourcing skills and comfort engaging passive candidates
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities without sacrificing quality
Collaborative, self-directed, and comfortable operating with limited structure
Preferred
Experience working as a contractor or in fractional recruiting roles is a plus
