Responsibilities
Develop new user-facing experiences on Roblox that allow players to customize their avatars in new and exciting ways
Add new features to the Roblox app (Luau/React) and build upon the game APIs used by third-party developers to customize player avatars (C++)
Be an active participant in the direction and development of the team’s roadmap & strategy
Collaborate closely with other engineers and cross-functional partners (product, design, art) in the Avatar and Marketplace teams
Qualification
Required
A track record of quality game(s) on the Roblox platform (very strong plus)
Roblox / Luau development experience (strong plus). Alternately, experience in other game engines such as Godot / Unity / Unreal / etc. is a plus
3+ years of professional software development experience
Experience working with cross-functional partners, including Producers & 3D Artists
C++ experience (a plus but not required)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
