Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, scalable cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Enforce IAM least-privilege access, identity governance, and role-based access controls
Secure cloud networking environments including VPCs/VNETs, security groups, NSGs, firewalls, private endpoints, and routing controls
Implement and manage CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM security platforms
Build automated security remediation workflows using Python, serverless functions, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
Develop and maintain security guardrails using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep
Design and enforce Kubernetes and container security best practices, including image scanning and runtime protection
Collaborate with DevOps, platform, SRE, and application teams to embed security, support compliance, audits, and incident response
Qualification
Required
10+ years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and cloud security
Strong expertise across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including native security services
Proven experience designing and implementing cloud security controls, governance models, and automation at enterprise scale
Hands-on experience with IAM, network security, container security, and Kubernetes
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep)
Solid scripting and automation skills using Python and cloud APIs
Deep understanding of compliance and security frameworks (CIS, NIST, SOC2, ISO, PCI, HIPAA)
Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence security adoption
