SUPERVISOR SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT is looking for a SUPERVISOR SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST. In this role, you will manage and develop policies and procedures for procurement specifications related to spare and repair parts, oversee procurement packages, and supervise multiple technical support teams.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the management and development of policies and procedures involving the procurement specifications for spare and repair parts in support of the NRP program
You will facilitate projects for resolution of issues impacting the acquisition of spare and repair parts, and the assignment of packaging specifications for supplies such as spare and repair parts
You will oversee the preparation of quality procurement packages and ensures timely resolution of procurement challenges that arise post-award to avoid delay in contract delivery
You will be responsible for the management and supervision of multiple technical support teams within the division

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience working with internal and external stakeholders in the review and development of procurement packages for highly technical specifications and supply packaging requirements
Systems knowledge and experience working in specialized applications in the review and development of technical data packages
Experience gathering, creating, and working with partners to interpret, review, analyze and evaluate data in support of the acquisition process
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues impacting supply spares and repair parts, develops best practices, and oversees technical item management
