Oracle CCB Test Lead

JPS Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle CCB Test Lead to own and drive end-to-end testing for Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing applications. The role involves defining test strategy, managing execution across multiple test phases, and ensuring high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end testing activities for Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CCB) implementations and enhancements
Define and own the overall test strategy, test plans, and test execution across all phases of testing
Manage functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and UAT testing
Oversee CCB EDI testing, ensuring accuracy of billing, customer, and transaction data
Perform API and service validation, both manual and automated
Manage defect lifecycle including logging, tracking, triage, and root cause analysis using JIRA, HP ALM / QC
Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth releases
Lead and mentor QA team members, providing guidance on best practices and utilities testing standards
Support test automation initiatives; collaborate on automation strategy (Tosca preferred)
Ensure compliance with utilities industry standards and client quality expectations

Required

10+ years of overall Oracle experience, with a strong focus on enterprise applications
Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CCB)
Proven experience leading testing efforts for end-to-end CCB implementations
Strong expertise in CCB functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT
Solid experience with CCB EDI testing
Hands-on experience with API and service testing
Strong defect management experience using JIRA, HP ALM, and Quality Center (QC)
Excellent skills in defect triage and root cause analysis
In-depth knowledge of utilities operations and business processes
Experience leading QA teams and working directly with business and technical stakeholders
Exposure to test automation tools, with Tosca preferred
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
