Responsibilities
Supervision of all canteen personnel, civilian back up and inmates
Interview, hire, and terminate all inmate canteen workers
Oversee sales transactions through the canteen point of sale system
Ensure all adjustments are correctly processed
Maintain proper requisitioning, receipt, and storage of all canteen products
Ensure that all policy and security procedures are followed to prevent loss of product and equipment
Follow procedures to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure stock rotation
Supervise the daily reporting of sales and receipts to ensure they are accurate
Conduct daily, quarterly, and monthly inventories
Standard position hours may vary per institution and subject to change
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma and relevant program experience
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire
