TITLE 32 ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (MI CRTC)
The MI Alpena CRTC is part of the Michigan Air National Guard and is seeking a TITLE 32 ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC. This position involves providing munitions support, managing allocations and inventories of munitions, and ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.

Responsibilities
Provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings
Manage allocations, stock levels, inventories, requisitions, and disposition of munitions
Manage excess serviceable/unserviceable munitions program
Assemble/Disassemble, adjust configuration, perform maintenance/tests & repairs, handle and transport ammunition, decoys, and countermeasures
Coordinate with various sections to ensure the effective flow of information, scheduling, and use of available resources
Comply with safety and security requirements and all regulations concerning hazardous materials/waste munitions assets

Required

This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the Michigan Air National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement
Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform
Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment
Applicants who are not currently a member of the Michigan Air National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Michigan Air National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement
Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation
May be required to successfully complete a trial period
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory
Must have a valid civilian driver's license
Must be able to obtain/maintain appropriate security clearance
Military Grades: E4-E6
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: WG-09 and above - Experience or training in repairing, rebuilding, modifying, and testing a variety of major subassemblies. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and determining repair in major components consisting of numerous assemblies, interrelated electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies, and components. Experience in the use of precision measurement equipment. Experience interpreting and applying a variety of technical manuals and similar published materials
