Responsibilities
Improve understanding of immune biology and help develop personalized cancer immunotherapies using mass spectrometry based immunopeptidomics
Develop next generation immunopeptidome profiling assays and data analysis tools
Develop and optimize new proteomic technologies to improve the identification of tumor specific antigens using both in vitro systems and primary patient samples
Working closely with computational biologists and immunologists in a highly matrixed environment to apply immunopeptidomics technology to help answer questions about antigen presentation in cancer and autoimmunity
Qualification
Required
A Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a closely related field
Hands on skills and knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be considered an advantage: state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based proteomics & immunopeptidomics (DDA and DIA)
Expertise in statistical and/or computational analysis of large-scale proteomic or genomic data analysis of cell signaling pathways/networks
Cell biology/ biochemical methods to understand protein function
Excellent scientific productivity, evidenced by high-quality research publications in peer reviewed journals
Track record of conducting independent and creative research in proteomics and immunopeptidomics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
