Responsibilities
Develops and executes strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
Analyzes sales statistics to formulate forecasts and drive strategic planning
Meets with key clients in person, assisting inside and outside sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals
Works individually and through the sales team to increase market share
Analyzes ways to obtain new customers through market analysis, and following inside and outside leads
Attends trade shows to increase customer visibility & market share
Build and maintain customer relationships
Prepare reports on sales performance, forecasting, and business transactions
Utilize and manage the CRM system to optimize performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in the business administration or technical related field preferred; or other Bachelor's degrees in combination with relevant work experience
Minimum 10 years progressive experience in B2B sales and marketing with demonstrated success in the metal/steel industry (forging industry a strong plus)
Strong teamwork, negotiation, and collaboration skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
Ability to accurately develop pricing, discounts, commissions, etc
Ability to present complex data to all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills to run multiple software applications, such as Excel, Word, Notes, databases, and CRM systems
Self-motivated with high attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
