Responsibilities
Timely and accurate posting of journal entries and transactions for month end
Perform Account Analysis and Account Reconciliations
Reconcile/Review Bank accounts Daily
Review Corporate Bank account to assist A/P with various inquiries
Primary Financial Resource for ancillary Baptist Business Entities
File Annual/Quarterly Business Tax Filings and Monthly Sales/Use Tax
Assistance as needed with Annual audit, Tax filings and Special projects
Provide assistance to the Corporate Finance team as needed with its ongoing financial activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-5 years related accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle)
Working knowledge of MS Excel/MS Word/MS Office
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and Strong time management
