Responsibilities
Client Advising: Provide expert advice to employers on employee benefit options and tailored solutions based on their specific needs
Plan Evaluation: Review and assess current employee benefit plans, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and employer goals
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and open communication
Market Research: Stay informed on the latest trends in the insurance industry to provide clients with competitive and comprehensive benefits packages
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all proposed and existing benefit plans comply with current federal and state regulations
Problem Solving: Address client concerns, provide solutions, and facilitate the implementation of benefit plan changes effectively
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in employee benefits consulting or a related field
Strong understanding of various employee benefit plans, including health insurance, group life, and other ancillary benefits
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and consultation
Ability to analyze complex data and provide clear insights and recommendations
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to offer effective solutions to clients' needs
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Relevant insurance licenses in the state of Alaska are advantageous
