Channel and Platform Partnerships Manager

Responsibilities

Identify, recruit, and qualify new channel and platform partners aligned with GS1 US strategic priorities. Assess technical fit, activation potential, and ability to scale adoption of GS1 standards and services
Guide partners through onboarding and early mobilization, ensuring they understand GS1 value propositions, integration options, and go-to-market expectations. Collaborate with Solutions Engineering to support technical enablement and readiness
Partner with Marketing and Channel Development to plan and execute joint launches, co-marketing initiatives, and speaking opportunities that increase awareness and engagement
Maintain partner momentum post-launch, collaborating with internal stakeholders on quarterly business reviews, activation milestones, and ecosystem growth initiatives
Identify new opportunities to enhance partner visibility, adoption, and engagement, including innovative activation and distribution models that support scalable growth
Track partner progress using CRM and partner management tools, ensuring accurate documentation and visibility. Work closely with Product, Technology, Strategic Initiatives, and Customer Experience teams to align partnerships with broader organizational priorities

Required

Bachelor's degree
5–8+ years of experience in partner management, channel development, platform partnerships, business development, or related roles
Strong communication skills
Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, compelling value propositions
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Strategic mindset and analytical approach to partnership development
Curiosity for how platforms, technology, and ecosystems create scalable growth
Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and influence outcomes without direct authority

Preferred

Experience working with SaaS platforms, APIs, or data-driven solutions
Exposure to partner go-to-market and co-marketing initiatives
