Responsibilities
Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans to meet or exceed revenue, group, and corporate goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, government, group, and leisure markets
Conduct regular sales calls, site tours, and networking events to promote the hotel and attract new clients
Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to align pricing, marketing, and revenue strategies
Maintain accurate client data and manage leads in the hotel’s CRM and brand systems
Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for ownership and brand review
Represent the hotel professionally at trade shows, community events, and brand functions
Lead and mentor the sales team, nurturing a culture of accountability, performance, and success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of proven sales success in a hotel environment; select-service or extended-stay experience preferred
Strong skills in negotiation, relationship building, and presentations
Effective organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales systems (e.g., CI/TY, OnQ, SalesPro, STS)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
