The Huang Lab is seeking a Research Associate II to support a drug repurposing initiative, providing hands-on experience with single-cell RNA sequencing technologies and contributing to translational research efforts.

Responsibilities
Receive hands-on training in state-of-the-art single-cell RNA sequencing platforms and workflows
Routinely perform single-cell RNA-seq assays following established protocols, under the supervision of senior laboratory personnel
Support large-scale experimental workflows related to drug repurposing research
Generate and maintain quality assurance (QA) reports, documenting assay performance, consistency, and data quality
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared research goals and infrastructure development
Follow best practices for laboratory organization, documentation, and experimental reproducibility
Qualification
Required
A BS or MS degree in a biological science or related field preferred
1+ years of laboratory experience, particularly with molecular biology assays
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
A high level of intrinsic motivation and eagerness to learn new techniques and technologies
Preferred
Prior experience working with RNA is strongly preferred
Previous exposure to single-cell RNA sequencing is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
