8+ years expCreative Circle is seeking an experienced AEM Assets Consultant/Strategist with deep Adobe AEM Assets expertise to support the consolidation of three existing DAM practices into a unified AEM Assets for Cloud instance. This role focuses on strategy, discovery, and documentation, with the primary outcome being a DAM Playbook that establishes standards, governance, and operating models for a Q3 consolidation initiative.

Responsibilities
Lead discovery with stakeholders across Marketing, Production, Operations, and Technology
Assess the current-state DAMs, workflows, and governance models
Identify pain points such as duplication, inconsistent taxonomy, asset findability, and workflow handoffs
Collaborate with Workfront administrators to understand upstream approval and compliance processes
Develop a 10-12 step DAM Consolidation Playbook, covering:
Folder structure and hierarchy
Metadata models and taxonomy standards
Tagging strategy (including intelligent tagging with AEM Assets AI)
Consistency and naming conventions
Personas, roles, and responsibilities
Asset lifecycle and governance (ingestion approval & DAM distribution)
Ensure recommendations support integration with downstream production and distribution channels
Define the future-state operating model for a unified DAM
Recommend staffing roles and skill sets needed to maintain and evolve the DAM post-consolidation
Document best practices and decision frameworks that can scale across teams
Provide guidance that is compliant with financial services requirements (without owning compliance execution)
Qualification
Required
8+ years experience in Digital Asset Management strategy, specifically hands-on experience with Adobe AEM Assets (on-prem and/or Cloud)
AEM certification
Proven experience consolidating or scaling DAMs across multiple teams or business
