This role involves supporting audio-visual hardware, software, and collaboration systems in an enterprise environment, providing technical support, assisting with installations, and ensuring smooth operation of AV systems.

Responsibilities
Set up, install, and support audio-visual systems and video conferencing technology
Monitor and maintain collaboration systems using tools like MS Teams Admin Center and vendor monitoring portals
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; determine repair, replacement, or remediation steps
Recommend improvements for collaboration spaces, including new tools or best practices
Train end users and technical staff on AV equipment and meeting technology
Work with other IT teams on projects and cross-functional initiatives
Maintain documentation, asset tracking, and configuration details
Support events, including after-hours needs
Travel up to 50% to remote sites for support and event coordination
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience in an enterprise IT or AV environment preferred
Strong knowledge of virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms hardware
Strong knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11
Proven AV troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network components
Experience with AV system commissioning (enterprise or integrator background ideal)
Proficiency with control systems such as Crestron or Q-SYS, plus DSP configuration
Understanding of AV signal flow, AV over IP, structured cabling, and rack-build best practices
Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills
High school diploma required; technical certifications or additional education a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent hands-on experience
1-3 years of related IT or AV support experience
