The Supporting Documentation Specialist will join the customer service team to obtain prior authorizations, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.

Responsibilities
Obtaining prior authorizations and statements of medical necessity
Maintaining of patient records
Patient supply & service orders
Collaborate with referrals to create and streamline supporting documentation
Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills
A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required
Preferred
Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience preferred
Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!
Experience in obtaining title 19 with health care providers
