Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of federal loan application and compliance tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and agreed upon timelines
Manage the compliance requirements for the assigned transmission project portfolio under the EDF loan, ensuring all documentation, approvals, and reporting align with DOE expectations and internal processes
Collaborate with the environmental SME’s to gather, organize, and maintain all necessary documentation for project submittal and approval into loan, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Develop and maintain project timelines, tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure timely submission of projects for DOE eligibility review
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the application process
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the application processes
Prepare regular updates and reports on project status, highlighting any issues or delays and proposing solutions to keep the project on track
Provide administrative and project support to the Grant Submittal Manager in preparing and submitting applications
Provide administrative and project support to the Grant Compliance Manager in preparing and executing EDF Loan compliance documents
Provide administrative and project support to the Federal Loan Manager in preparing and submitting Federal Loan applications
Cultivate working relationships with the EDF lead team and communicate regularly on project matters to ensure loan compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in electric utility transmission and/or in grant writing, federal funding application development, or federal award compliance
Familiarity with transmission related functions, terminology, and workflows in an electric utility setting or related construction fields
Familiarity with federal loan application and compliance processes, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn new things and take action quickly
Preferred
A Master's degree is a plus
PMP is desired
