Responsibilities

Act as a hands-on, consultative onboarding specialist to guide new customers from contract signature to fully-functioning through operational set up and historical data completion
Provides technical expertise across projects managed by other members of our professional services Team specifically for complex API usage and technical assistance with custom coding and scripting
Shepherd new Customers through training, account configuration, and deriving solutions to complex issues relating to optimizing their financial operations and workflow across multiple systems
Act as a data expert to help clients migrate their historical data from disparate systems into MAXIO by digging deeply into their historical transactions, manipulating the data, and preparing it for use in the MAXIO platform
Act as a reporting & analytics expert to create financial clarity for customers, guiding them in analyzing the performance of their business
Work comfortably and credibly with dynamic CEOs, CFOs, and accounting staff in high growth, emerging SaaS businesses
Provide MAXIO product expertise across the following areas: subscription analytics, revenue recognition accounting, invoicing processes and payments processes. Don’t worry, we will teach you what you need to know, and you will become an expert at subscription financial operations
Help customers achieve their desired business outcomes while also driving customer accountability to complete onboarding projects in a timely manner
Establish new customers as passionate champions for MAXIO because of their satisfaction with our product, processes and people
Collaborate with management to refine onboarding processes
Strive to continuously improve skills and demonstrate a willingness to learn and establish best practices

Required

4+ years in a customer-facing, account management or implementation role at a SaaS company
2+ years driving projects and meetings via web conference and phone
2+ years experience in manipulating and cleansing large volumes of data
Accounting & finance background in a recurring revenue business is highly valued
Experience helping customers implement B2B SaaS solutions is highly valued
Understanding of core JavaScript concepts, including object-oriented programming, and functional programming
Help address API needs and define workflows utilizing Maxio APIs in order to enable Maxio customers development efforts
Takes complete ownership of work; pride in every detail
Flexibility to manage multiple, simultaneous onboarding projects
Ability to methodically and rigorously pursue solutions
Experience working with Rest APIs and writing effective technical documentation
Basic coding ability in at least one programming language, ideally Javascript
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Outstanding written & verbal communication
A technical inclination and ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software
Strong troubleshooting instincts
A thirst for knowledge and growth in a dynamic, emerging company environment
A sense of urgency and persistence
The adaptability to react quickly and meet customer and market needs
Desire to be a critical impact player and connect your work to company results
Ability to work well in a self-paced, remote environment independently and to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
