Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics and Insights

The Sr. Manager of Commercial Analytics & Insights will lead the development of insight frameworks and predictive analytics applications to enhance revenue performance and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities
Execute and evolve the commercial insights roadmap, delivering actionable analytics that inform earnings preparation, forecast reviews, field insights, and strategic planning
Develop and maintain core insight frameworks for pipeline signals, account segmentation, trends, etc., ensuring consistency and scalability across the organization
Guide the build of predictive analytics capabilities, including models and applications that leverage commercial data for forecasting and scenario planning, enabling proactive decision-making
Collaborate closely with Sales Operations & Finance as a strategic partner—aligning on priorities while maintaining independence in analytical perspective and recommendations
Manage and coach the Commercial Insights & Analytics team, fostering analytical rigor, storytelling excellence, and continuous improvement in reporting standards
Translate complex data into clear, narrative-driven insights for leadership presentations, earnings materials, and other high-visibility communications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field with previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
Experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
Experience interfacing and influencing stakeholders in complex organizations with multiple BUs and global cross-functional groups including the ability to gain resolutions and build consensus with key stakeholders in challenging situations or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
Demonstrated track record in people management or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
Preferred
Advanced ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights; proficiency in commercial analytics tools and methodologies
Experience working within healthcare or other highly regulated industry
Knowledge of programming languages like SQL or Python
Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau and PowerBI
Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation
Expert understanding of reporting and data analysis while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
Strong understanding of revenue drivers, sales processes, and financial implications to ensure insights align with strategic objectives
Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; ability to translate analytics into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
Proven experience managing and mentoring analytical talent, fostering a culture of rigor and continuous improvement
Skilled at partnering with Sales Ops, Finance, and Strategy teams while maintaining independent, strategic perspective
Expert understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems
Proven successful project management and leadership skills with the ability to influence change
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Strict attention to detail
Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and ability to operate general office machinery
Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
Travel (day and overnight by car, air, train, etc.) will vary. Percentage of time is determined by Management
