Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific, security-related procedures and access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Control entry to the residential community by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor passes as directed, and maintaining access logs and reports
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems when assigned, and communicate security-related observations to onsite contacts and/or dispatch in a timely manner
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, documentation, and notifications per post orders
Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
