Responsibilities

Executing and validating AML rules in SAS Viya
Comparing outputs against legacy systems
Investigating discrepancies down to record-level detail
Determining whether differences can be resolved or must be documented
Producing clear documentation explaining variances and logic changes
Communicating findings to stakeholders in clear, business-friendly language

Qualification

Required

5–7 years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Reporting
Strong SQL (joins, aggregations, CTEs)
SAS experience (Base, DATA step, PROC SQL) or strong SQL with ability to adapt to SAS
Proven experience interpreting results and explaining 'why' differences exist

Preferred

AML domain experience
Financial services background
Payments data experience (preferred): Wires
Payments data experience (preferred): SWIFT
Payments data experience (preferred): Payments data more broadly
Prior experience with system or rule migrations
Familiarity with SAS Viya
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear requirements
Curious and inquisitive, with strong problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a data quality and validation mindset
Clear, concise communicator who can present technical findings in business-friendly language
Stakeholder-focused and collaborative team player
