The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the organization’s network infrastructure, contributing to the stability, security, and performance of enterprise networks.

Responsibilities
Support the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
Work with senior engineers to implement network changes and improvements
Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and asset inventories
Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to network incidents
Follow change control and incident response procedures
Assist in the implementation of network security protocols and compliance controls
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and system rollouts
Assist in monitoring and analyzing network performance to ensure reliability and availability
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to connectivity, latency, and performance
Other duties as assigned or may be necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT or Network Administration, including exposure to firewalls, VPN, wireless technologies, and basic network security concepts
OR Associate's Degree and 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT or Network Administration, including exposure to firewalls, VPN, wireless technologies, and basic network security concepts
OR High School Diploma and 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT or Network Administration, including exposure to firewalls, VPN, wireless technologies, and basic network security concepts
Familiarity with common network tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
Strong foundational knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and grow within the field
Demonstrates excellent teamwork and embodies the virtues of being humble, hungry, and people smart
