Responsibilities
Utilize technical skills to develop test plans, test cases/scripts, test automation
Execute test cases and document test execution artifacts
Develop, implement, and track project metrics to report testing status
Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications
Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation
Understand the use cases and business rules related to the system developed to communicate effectively with the client, stakeholders, and engineers
Develop and execute test cases for Section 508 compliance
Perform basic database queries to validate backend expected results
Manage test assignments and results through JIRA
Work within an Agile process through Sprint planning/close, and scrum meetings
Prepare material for customer meetings as required
Provide input for project decisions and risks
Provide support for production outages, and product deployments
Provide test planning and execution estimates for new development activities
Effectively communicate to other team members information regarding code defects, code releases, requirements, acceptance criteria and environments status and needs
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years of experience with MS/MA; 3 years of experience with PhD
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
Great customer relationship building and people skills
Strong software testing experience
Working experience with Jira, SCRUM, Selenium (and/or other automation framework experiences)
Expertise in Agile principles
Preferred
Active Public Trust Security Clearance or higher
Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
Works under general direction, independently determines and develops approach to solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively across all levels of staff and management
Advanced level knowledge of Jira, SQL, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Experience in System Architecture & Design
Familiarity with government environments and standards is desired
Experience with Cloud and DevOps principles is a plus
