Responsibilities
Analysis and recommendation of safety criteria in system design
Hazard analysis and development of procedures to control or eliminate hazards
Software safety assessments
Hazardous material management planning and execution
Development of safety documentation
Support to operational testing and test range requirements
Participation in design reviews, customer briefings, and system safety review boards
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering discipline such as electrical, mechanical, or related discipline
Security Clearance: Secret
Ability to work remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
Must be a US Citizen for consideration
Preferred
Experienced with Microsoft Office (POWERPOINT, ACCESS, WORD, EXCEL)
Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with minimal oversight
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must
