Principal or Sr Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

Strategizes, develops, and manages comprehensive export/import authorizations to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations
Follows business processes pertaining to export/import requirements and all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations
Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and internal customers
Assures trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments
Support internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel
Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements

Required

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field
Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field
Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

Preferred

Experience working on a complex and high-volume production program
Experience with OCR's EASE application (EEMS)
Experience with SAP / GTS application
