People Experience & Compliance Manager
Responsibilities
Own Benefits & Compliance Programs: Serve as the in-house expert for benefits and leave programs. This includes managing open enrollment, vendor relationships, and acting as the escalation point for complex cases
Manage Workers' Compensation claims, maintain accurate records of workplace incidents and interact with the insurance company
Manage Unemployment by reviewing, validating, and providing information for unemployment claims
Serve as a subject matter expert for our People technology, including our HRIS (Paylocity). You'll ensure data integrity, build reports, and continuously optimize workflows
Manage and improve our core People processes—including onboarding, off-boarding, and internal mobility—to ensure every step is seamless, compliant, and employee focused
Own onboarding execution and continuously improve the onboarding experience
Coordinate hiring workflows with hiring managers
Manage offer letters, pre-employment steps and onboarding transitions
Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate data flow and smooth handoffs for all employee changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
5+ years of experience in People Operations or as an HR Generalist with compliance responsibilities
Has worked in a fast-paced, growing company
Demonstrated expertise in benefits and state-specific leave laws
A track record of personally leading and delivering projects with autonomy
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust with everyone from new hires to executives
A 'roll-up-your-sleeves' mindset, comfortable with both strategy and hands-on execution
